We started the Spoker Ride in 2010 with 35 riders. Six years, hundred of riders and thousands of miles later, we have raised $35,000 for JDRF. This year’s Spoker Ride looks to be bigger, better and more fun than ever!
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. There is nothing you can do to prevent it. And, at present, there is no cure.
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. All proceeds from The Spoker Ride go directly to the Northern Nevada JDRF to support their work.
